Dr. Asamoah joined the Department of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) of UCCI as an Associate Professor at in August 2007. Dr. Asamoah brings a wealth of teaching and consulting experience to the ICT department of UCCI after several years of teaching and consulting in the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining UCCI, Dr. Asamoah taught for seven years as an Associate Professor at the Department of Networks and Communications Management of DeVry University Georgia, in the United States. He also served as an adjunct faculty at the computer science department of Morehouse College in Atlanta. Before moving into academia, Dr. Asamoah worked with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Canada, as the Project Manager for the ministry's Y2K Compliance Initiative. He worked as an IT consultant for various IT companies in Canada and the United States.
He holds two Masters Degrees in Engineering and Computer Science, and a PhD in engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
