Dr. Ivan Eubanks earned a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Princeton University in 2008. He taught in the College of Arts & Sciences Writing Program, the Department Modern Languages & Comparative Literatures, and the Kilachand Honors College at Boston University for five years. In 2013 he joined the New Economic School, where he was an Assistant Professor of Humanities & Languages and Director of the bilingual Merrill Lynch Writing & Communication Center, prior to joining UCCI as an Assistant Professor of English & Literature.
Dr. Eubanks' research interests include Cinema, Digital Humanities, A.S. Pushkin, Rhetoric, and L.N. Tolstoy. He has published research on those subjects as well as literary translations of Pushkin’s poetry. He also serves as Editor in Chief of the Pushkin Review, the International Pushkin Society’s bilingual, peer-reviewed journal.
