Learning Resource Center
The Sam Basdeo Library opened its doors on October 11, 1996 and
acts as a centre for study and research and the intellectual heart
of the institution with access to the World Wide Web.
It houses a collection of over 18,000 volumes of books, media,
and periodicals including books, videos and DVDs. The fiction section
boasts items from the Oprah Book Club including authors like Maya
Angelou. The library has particularly strong collections in the
areas of business management, building trades, engineering, hospitality
management, economics and financial services. There are over 50
journal titles represented. Journal titles include Harvard Business
Review, Popular Science, Time, Newsweek, PC Magazine and Journal
of Marketing.
Faculty and students as well as community members are encouraged
to make use of the services offered. Students are required to present
a current ID card to avail of services in the Library.

Library Membership
Students enrolled in full-time and part-time programmes at the
College receive borrowing privileges at the library through the
use of the Student ID which serves as a library card.
Continuing Education students and others in the community may apply
to become Community Members. This entitles the member to full use
