Dr. Minott joined UCCI’s Faculty of Education in 2007. At the University College of the Cayman Islands he worked on the Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Teachers’ Aide courses as Co-coordinator and Co-developer. He was also responsible for leading all aspect of the fieldwork/practicum exercise.
He is Co-Chairman of the Research and Publication Committee and editorial board member and reviewer for the Journal of the University College of the Cayman Islands. He is also editorial/ advisory board member and reviewer for Education Quest: An International Journal of Educational and Social Development ISSN 0976-3201, India, New Delhi Publishers, International Review of Social Sciences and Humanities, ISSN 2248 – 9010 and International Journal of Instruction e-ISSN 1308-1470, p-ISSN 1694-609X Eskisehir Osmangazi University TURKEY.

As a teacher/researcher he has published an eclectic array of articles and books on issues relating to Teacher Education, Reflective Teaching, Church-school relationship and the Arts in Christian Worship. Examples of these can be found on his website.
He has over twenty-three years of teaching experience at the Primary, Secondary and Higher Educational levels. His past work experience include the role of Regional Dean and Lecturer of the International University of the Caribbean-Cayman Campus. He has led workshops and seminars in the United Kingdom, Guyana, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands and acts as thesis supervisor and external examiner for students pursuing Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from a number of Universities.
