Mr. Ferguson joined the UCCI team as a Construction Technology Lecturer in September 2007. His background in building construction serves as an asset to the Department of Continuing Education. He brings a wealth of experience in building construction, both in practice and theory which spans over 30 years.

Prior to joining the UCCI team, he was employed by the HEART Trust/NTA of Jamaica as an Instructor for 19 years, of which he served at a senior level for 10 years.

He holds a Bachelor of Education Degree in Technical Vocational Education and Training from the University of Technology (Jamaica) and a Diploma in Masonry and Steel-Fixing from the Vocational Training Development Institute. He was also awarded a Standard Certificate in Instructor Training from the Vocational Training Development Institute, his Construction Engineering Technicians Certificates (part one and part two from the College of Arts, Science and Technology, now the University of Technology, Jamaica), and a Construction Technicians Certificate (part two from City and Guilds of London Institute).
