Mr. Frederick joined the UCCI team as a Senior Lecturer in 2007 where he teaches classes in marketing and management and also heads the student internship program with Cayman Islands Investment Bureau – a programme designed to benefit local small businesses and gives students “hands-on” experience with real world business problems.

Mr. Frederick has a MBA from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was a corporate banker for Wachovia Bank where he managed a portfolio consisting of $100 MM in loans and $100 MM in deposits. He also spent time as a Brand Manager for Seapak Shrimp Company in St. Simmons Island, Georgia. Prior to the business world, Mr. Frederick spent 5 years in the U.S. Army completing assignments with the 3rd Special Forces Group and was a Company Commander in the 18th Airborne Corps. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Societies.
