Mr. Tempral joined UCCI team as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business in August 2007. He possesses almost two decades of experience in accounting, auditing and manufacturing in Jamaica including working with one of the Big Four accounting firms, Pricewaterhousecoopers.

Prior to his move to Cayman he was an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) in which he held the post of Vice Chairman of the Students Affairs Committee and was also a member of the Taxation and Future of the Profession Committees.

Mr. Tempral has a professional designation in accounting from the UK based ACCA accountancy body and is also a CPA. His most recent academic accomplishment is an Executive MBA from the Florida International University for which he received awards for academic and leadership excellence. He brings to UCCI a combination of strong academic wit, solid business experience and an understanding of the needs and challenges of today’s students. His current projects at UCCI include spearheading the development of an effective competency based business curriculum.
