Master's Degree in Business Administration (pMBA)
The Professional MBA offered through UCCI’s Executive Training Centre is a graduate programme that
seeks to enhance the skills of persons currently, or aspiring to work in the field of management.
The MBA is designated a Professional MBA with a focus on applied research.
The degree allows persons to focus research in one of the following areas:
- Finance & Accounting
- Offshore Financial Services
- Human Resource Management
- Administration in Public and Private Enterprise
- International Marketing
The program consists of three modules offered over an 18-month period. Successful completion of all
three modules will entitle a student to be awarded the Professional Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Master's Degree in Human Resource Management
The Master’s Degree in HR Management, offered through UCCI’s Executive Training Centre is a graduate
program that enhances the knowledge and skills of current and aspiring HR practitioners. UCCI has collaborated
with the Cayman Islands Society of HR professionals to design a program that suits the needs of professionals
working in the Cayman Islands and in international settings. Two professional certifications are offered as part of the degree.
The Masters Degree in HR Management consists of three modules offered over an 18 month period. Classes are held at a range
of times scheduled to meet the needs of working professionals. Successful completion of all three modules
entitles a student to be awarded the Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.

Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) Program in Advanced Professional Studies
The University of Miami (UM) and the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) are proud to co-sponsor a
new graduate degree program for individuals residing in the Cayman Islands.
Students will learn how to become more effective classroom teachers and education leaders. This program is designed
specifically for primary and secondary teachers in the Cayman Islands. All coursework, course materials, and projects
will place emphasis on the multicultural context of life in the Islands.
All courses will be taught by a UM faculty member. Many courses will be co-taught with UCCI education faculty.
In addition to primary and secondary teachers, those who work in closely aligned educational and/or social service positions may also wish to apply.

Post-graduate level Diploma in Education
The Post Graduate Diploma in Education is a one year course at the end of which students will be awarded a
Post Graduate Diploma in Education in Secondary or Primary Education approved by the President, Faculty and
Board of Governors as prescribed and offered. UCCI’s Department of Teacher Education is accredited by the
Joint Board of Teacher Education, UWI, Mona and approved by the University of Miami (UM).
